All
of my tables are custom made to specs based on the customer's prefrences. As
with my boards, I prefer clean lines and classical porportions. One of my favorite
designs is a result of stripping away the gaudy carving and ornamentation common
to pre-victorian furniture, leaving only the basic lines of the classic cabriole
leg and arched apron.

The "Chessdesk" in Honduras Mahogany, Ebony and Bird's Eye Maple.
This was made for an attorney's office. It features ball and claw feet. The
aprons are "shadowboxed" with "egg and dart" mouldings and
the two lockable drawers are lined with billiard cloth. Because this piece had
to actually function as a desk from time to time, the squares and border were
inlaid flush rather than "standing proud". Price was $6,600.00
